Add members to your buddy list to help you keep track of forum members and friends. At myHome, you can see which of your buddies are currently online. Adding people to your buddy list also allows you to easily send them a private message. To add members to your buddy list, click the BUDDY link in a member’s posts or check the "BUDDY" box and then "Submit Modifications" at the bottom of a member’s profile. Adding a member to the ignore list prevents you from seeing any of that member's posts or topics. You will also be unable to send or receive private messages from an ignored member. But you still can send and receive emails from an ignored member. The IGNORE link is always located next to the BUDDY link. Go to myHome to view or edit your buddy and ignore lists.

The • symbol next to a member's name notifies you that you have private notes and/or a mouse over value stored in their profile.
In every member profile page you can save private notes pertaining to that individual. Once you add private notes to a member’s profile, a • symbol will be displayed in front of their member name to notify you that you have notes about this individual. In addition, this feature gives you a personal scratchpad in your own profile. The fastest way to your profile is myHOME and then click on your name. As a logged in member the notes you create are only seen by you.
The 'Member Name mouse over' field allows you to assign a descriptive tag or name to help you identify a member. The description you assign will appear whenever you hover over their username anywhere on the site. For Example: ![]() Once you add a 'Member Name mouse over' text to a member’s profile, a • symbol will be displayed in front of their name to notify you that you have made a note about this individual. If this field is left blank, the member's location appears whenever you hover over their name.
