JR 460t & 388s

HI
I'm trying to setup my new 460t and can't figure out how to adjust the gain.I have the white plug in the aux 2 slot.
I can set the dual rates but I thought I was suppose to set a gain seperate. I have a JR 388 in my new Venture and it is set up for ccpm. not sure if that matters.
Thanks

Hi
Have you sortened it out? Ive been checking the manual (downloaded from HorizonHobby) and it looks easy to install...Dosent you change the gain in some menu in the TX? If im not wrong thats how its done with JR 3810 (Gyro Gain adjust or so!?)

Which servo are you planning to use with it?

/Fredrik
'Hm now I just have to find out where to connect the GV1 sensor to the Jazz80 ESC.

Hunting tail rotor

I had it out today. The Gain is suppose to be adjustable in the TX using the dual rates. I tried to adjust all the way up and all the way down.
The tail hunts like crazy!!
The manual said to have the ball link 16-18 mm out on the servo rod,and mine is 17mm.
should I move it inward to decrease the movement?
I'm using a JR DS8417 high speed servo with the G460t.

Thanks ,

Hmm sounds strange, but you can try to move it in a few mm.
Checked the Gyro manual and it suggested the same, to move it inward one hole.
Good luck with your tries!!
Keep me posted how it goes, Im almost sure that I´ll go for a G460T in my Caliber30

HI!
I moved it in a few mm to reduce the travel ,and that helped alot.
I still had to play with the gain ,but it stopped wagging!
thanks

Nice to hear that things worked out!! Now that its working properly, do you think its worth buying? And the store from where I buy "everything" started to talk about those Telebee Gyros, anyone with experiences from them?

Might go for the HiTec GY130, Im little short of money...
Or does it s*ck big time?

So far I like it. seems to stop on a dime.I havent tried tail lock yet.there is a switch on the side of the gyro you have to switch between norm and tail lock.
I havent heard good things about the telebee gyros on this site.
but I have never used one.
I used an old futaba and liked that but it is an old mechanical one.
the new futabas are suppose to be real good too.

Hi, no Im not so sure how to do with those Telebees, might save up and buy a 460T - Or maybe choose a hiTec GY130, used to fly with a mechanic gyro in my old Concept SR-T and it worked
Not much fun but..
