Just got a set of Mikado 16g paddles to liven up my logo 10 a bit.
they are identical to the standard ones apart from some holes cut into them and when you have put the sticky back plastic on them they look awful, is there anywhere in the uk that I can get a proper set of 3D paddles

What is wrong with the appearance of the paddles? How did you assemble them?

There isn't really any assembly, They are just basically the same as the standard paddles with the centres moulded a little like ribs in an aircrafts wing and like this they look ok.
In order to cover this center section they come with a couple of pieces of sticky backed white trim, this doesnt cover the whole paddle just the centre section so you end up with a black paddle with a piece of white tape stuck on it.

If I could use them without the tape it would be ok but not sure what effect that might have.

I have seen a post about some K & S paddles but don't know if they are available in the UK

The white is the backing material, my paddles have a clear covering on them, they look fine and work great.

Just be careful working out which way round the coverings go.

I am using the 30 sized V-paddles on my Logo 10 and they work great.

Ah

The plastic is clear, I will check that out, I must admit that I didnt like the idea of the white covering so used some black cut to shape instead.
If its clear they will probably look quite good.
Thanks DRLodge

i've got some KSJ's paddles if you want them, only cost me a fiver, they're nice and pink though that's the only problem. They are for a 3mm flybar you can have on the sunday if your coming down to the club.

What you should do is sneak past the other field where I fly when I think no one is looking.
Ive got an excuse this week anyway, just put new paddles on and it needs a lot of setting up before I can commit it to flight

I don't know for sure what their weight is...the 60 size paddles are very light at 17 gm, these are lighter. Despite their light weight, they perform superbly, with none of the pitchiness associated with ksj paddles, but still pretty aggressive cyclic response. I am not using flybar weights with them.

I can't comment on the stock mikado 3d paddles, i have them but i never used them.
