The problem you describe doesn't sound like it's gyro related.

Since you bought the heli used, I would suggest that if you have the manual, you take the time to go through the set-up and build steps one at a time making sure that something wasn't missed by the previous owner. Pay particular attention to the CCPM setup and the pitch and throttle curves areas. If these are not set-up right then you will struggle with getting the heli to fly correctly.

If you don't have the manual, go to Horizon Hobby at this link and download the manual from online (you'll need Adobe Reader to view the file).

Since you are using the 662 radio, setup should be very easy as there is a complete set of instructions there for using the 662 radio (the manual may indicate the 652, but it is essentially the same unit).

At the very least, you will know your heli better and be better able to understand/adjust it's setup as you grow with the heli.

I'm sure it is...the pics look fine, but that doesn't mean it's setup right. For your own sake and to get most out of the heli, give it the once over. It would be a shame to not take one night to check it out and then have it throw a blade or something and cost you a bunch of repairs.

A well setup heli isn't going to have a bunch of glitches or noises that you can't identify. On the other hand you can just take your chances and when you need new parts give HeliProz a try. They'll be happy to sell you everything you need to make repairs!!

Best of luck...

I am Newbie Too Teamlosi2004.

I have the VE also, not a bad heli.

I had a HB once that had some glitches that where caused by a bad servo.

Make sure all the servos and stuff are pluged in the right way on RX , and make sure the TX is set up right for the VE, 120 swashplate and all the settings per the VE manual, don't know much about radio's but when i got mine it was set to PPM and i had to set it for SPCM to match the RX.

Good luck with your new heli
