e-Lite Machines Corona > Deans Antenna Necessary??

Hi,

Do you really need to purchase a Deans antenna for the Corona and shorten your Receiver antenna wire to use it? Has anyone else mounted their Receiver wire without the Deans antenna? Just not sure that it is a necessary item. Thoughts guys? Cheers.

Bill.

On my corona I didn't go with an aftermarket antenna. I just left the existing antenna long. It just hangs down during flight.

I have also seen vids of Corona's with the antenna hanging down. So other people, like my self, don't find it necessary to make the conversion.

Antenna

My neighbor left his long and on the first bounce it got ate ;-)
Now he used the Deans that came in the kit.
The little Deans looks really cool also.
