I plan the upgrade my gyro, is between GY401 and JR550T.

If I choose JR550T, I have to change my radio to JR3810.
If I choose GY401, I can use back my RD6000.

I have seem a JR550T flying on a Shuttle, is rock solid when performing 3D but I haven't seen a GY401.

What's wrong with the 410 that you already have? What servo are you using with it?

My JR410T gyro pass away. Too Bad. It just can't take vibration.

You won't be sorry with the 401.

I second the vote for a 401. Just make sure you get the combo with the 9253 servo. They ROCK!

I run both the 401 and the 550T. I think the futaba 401 is a better gyro. It hold really nice on my Raptor 30. The 550T took 3 channels, and was kinda hard to set up, plus it drifted when it was hovering.

I run the 550T and there is no drift. I have had this one for awhile If you set it up right There will be no problem with it. I would not use any thing else.

Now I'm using RD6000 Super, I plan to change to JR3810 later. Can I still use GY401 for JR3810 PCM ??

Thanks

Another vote for the 401

You will find that it is much easier to set up the GY401. The 550 requires a bit more setup on the transmitter to get top performance. While either one will do nicely, I vote for the 401 for its simplicity.
