My rappy is getting loose in the swash plate. Causing some pitching up in ff. What is a good aftermarket upgrade you like? Thanks!

The only one to get is the Quick UK swash, the red one. See the writeup on it on www.raptortechnique.com. WWW.GR8LakesRC.com carries it for about $60. If you live in the UK, Skyline Models and many others carry them also. Stay away from the TT swash, and the Quick WW stuff is a hit or miss proposition. I happen to have one from them (the evil ones-QWW) which is actually quite descent (buyer got lucky). I got it on a used heli. The Quick UK unit is really nice and comes with a cone shaped shaft collar to allow a bit more clearance.

Totally agree.

I have the TT metal swashplate & the Quick UK. No comparison.

Brand new Quick UK Swash on mine

Guys I just flew my brand new Quick UK swash this weekend. The cyclic response is VERY nice if you have the metal mixing base along with it. What I mean is that the control input feels much more firm on cyclic inputs.

I would highly recommend that everyone get the ~$10 metal mixing base from HeliHut or Ricks. I have the brass lined one from HeliHut. It really does tighten the mixing controls nicely. Although, I am still using the stock mixing levers.

I had my first experience with the Woofs on the same day. Pulled a real tight loop and there they were. Tracking went out by ~2" each side. Looked like it was gonna explode. But, after jabbing the collective everything lined back up. I will be trying some World Model blades at Sulphur this weekend at the funfly. Hopefully these woofs were only blade related since I was flying woodies.

BTW, just picked up a Venture 30. We'll see if they fly as nice as they look like they could.

That's the one, it would be nice to get some specs on it. I have purchased several Mixing Bases/Washout Bases. The ones that work best are taller than the others. A shorter base will allow extra play/slop.

The first one I received from Ricks is the one you(gforce) referenced. However, there are some black ones that are just a little shorter, and less effective(Second base from Ricks). But then again, I have gotten a black one from Aerohobbies, and it was taller, and worked well.

I hope this helps.

The Jr one works great Part # JRP960013. It cost about $7.00.
