I have both and agree the Eolo requires a few mods to make it fly well, Altering the lengths of the links is major surgery, I've just broken my 2nd swashplate trying to set up the new longer mixing arms.
I recently bought a 2nd hand logo10 from a freind at our field, its box standard, the only thing I've changed is the nicads for 4s4p Lipo's from www.flightpower.co.uk, it flies great for over 20 mins.
Julian there will advise you on adding to the lipos - I think I asked a similar question and was told the cells need to be balanced before adding them together.
I dont know about that motor is it from your Eolo?
