When my throttle stick is at full throttle, the tail's pitch is so "high" that the pitch slider only has about 2 MM of movement to the one side. SO when i give it RIGHT rudder, there is only about 2 mm of movement. Is this normal? I just got my nexus and am kinda confused..... is this a revo mixing problem? My trim is at neutral and the servo horn is at a 90 degree angle (straight up). If it makes any difference the servo is tail mounted.

I am all confused!

Thanks,
Max C.

Linkage

you might want to make sure your servo is centered then shorten your linkage a bit and see if that will help

WITH OUT TRUX U DON'T IT HAVE NOR THE BATTERIES TO POWER IT

sounds like a mixing problem, first what gyro are you using? is it a HH, if so you will not need mixing, if not you will need to adjust your mixing, you can use the factory settings, but it may be easyer just to set them to zero and adjust manualy., but we will need your radio and gyro info to help further. also have you hovered yet???

the gyro is a futaba 301 and radio is a futaba 6VH. I got a pitch guage today (helimax one) and have no clue how to use it... the directions suck.

For what it's worth, for my nexus to fly straight, there is VERY little pitch left.. and the pitch slider is almost up to the tail hub. On the other hand.. it still piro's relatively fast in both directions IMO. I don't think anything is wrong on your heli.

Marx,
for the pitch gauge, just slide it onto the rotor blade, all the way till the blade starts to narrow to the blade grip, put it on just before it narrows. then with the heli level, and the flybar level, just look accross the top of the gauge and adjust the gauge up or down till the top of the gauge is parrallel to the flybar, now just read the pitch. ( you may have to stand back a little or bend down to look accross the top of the gauge). generally you start by setting the 2 blades the same, then run it to set the tracking, I only adjust one blade for the tracking don't adjust both or you will need to re check pitch.

on the tail, you will not need much travel the one direction to turn because of the torque of the heli will spin it when you reduce the throw on the tail., figure 3/4 throw one way and 1/4 the other is ok

Ok thanks! How would I adjust it if one blade has more pitch than the other?

just remove the ball joint from the mixing arm or the rotor grip, and adjust as needed. just screw in or out the ball joint onto the rod.

set them both the same then run it just before hover or at hover and look at the blade tracking. of they are out of track then adjust one manually till they both track

Turn off

Turn off your revo mixing ...if you did not already do it ...thats what you have a gyro for
