for the pitch gauge, just slide it onto the rotor blade, all the way till the blade starts to narrow to the blade grip, put it on just before it narrows. then with the heli level, and the flybar level, just look accross the top of the gauge and adjust the gauge up or down till the top of the gauge is parrallel to the flybar, now just read the pitch. ( you may have to stand back a little or bend down to look accross the top of the gauge). generally you start by setting the 2 blades the same, then run it to set the tracking, I only adjust one blade for the tracking don't adjust both or you will need to re check pitch.
on the tail, you will not need much travel the one direction to turn because of the torque of the heli will spin it when you reduce the throw on the tail., figure 3/4 throw one way and 1/4 the other is ok |
