The follwing steps demonstrate how to calibrate the STYLUS transmitter.
1. Open the back of the case and battery cover on the back of the TX. You will see IC 10.
2. Set all sticks, trim pots, VR9, 10, 11, and 12 at center position (ie neutral)
3. Make sure the transmitter is switched off.
4. Use tweezers to short pin #9 to pin #10 of IC 10, then turn transmitter on.
5. Now look at the LCD panel display.

During this step you will see the NEUT indication blink. If you do not see the above displayon step 5, go back to step 4 and do it again.
6. Assuming you see the NEUT indication blink, press the YES/+ key. You will then see:
{Neutral-Adjust
{Push Yes key
7. Press the YES/+ key again, and you will see "OK"
8. Press the END key.
9. Move the cursor > to the right and you will see TRV blink. Press the YES/+ key. You will see:
{Travel-Adjust
{Push Yes key
10. Push all sticks, trims, VR9, 10, 11, and 12 to full high and press the YES/+ key.
11. Now, push all sticks, trims, VR9, 10, 11, and 12 to the opposite position from step 10 and press the YES/+ key.
12. Next, position all sticks, trims and VR's to the center neutral position.
13. Press the END key.
14. Move the cursor > to the right and you will see LCD blink.
15. Press the YES/+ key twice.
16. Press the END key twice.
17. Move the cursor > to the right until BA-ALM blinks.
18. Press the YES/+ key. You should see BA-ALARM > 9.1
19. Press the END key.
20. Move the cursor > to the right untill you see PPM-INV blinking.
21. Press the YES/+ key. You will then see:
{PPM - INV > ON
{ > OFF
If PPM - INV > OFF is blinking, push the YES/+ key to turn it on.
If PPM - INV > ON is blinking do nothing.
22. Press the END key.
23. Move the cursor > to the right until you see TRAINER. Then press the YES/+ key. You will then see: TRAINER > ON
24. Press the END key.
Move the cursor > to the right until you see SANWA (or ATX) blinking. At this step if you see SANWA, press the YES/+ key. It will then change to ATX which is what we want. The calibration is complete. Turn the transmitter off. |
