Hi,
i was reading a lot about sims and simulators and how good they are, but i dont even know WHAT they are! could you please tell me what is good about them, what they are, and what the best kinds are?

Simulators

From what I can tell its the best thing you can do whentrying to learn to fly a heli. Go to your local hobby shop and check one out. You can also go to Tower hobbies or Great Planes- they both have great websires and sell them.
I'm flying the RealFlight G2 with the addons for the Raptor and find it real helpful. Make sure your computer has enough juice ( operating speed)and memory to run this -but they are very realistic. Will set you back about $200. Good luck !

I downloaded the free sim called FMS. I made the interface cable that works with my RD6000 super transmitter. It is great help to learn what controls affect the heli. Here is a link
