| GrandsonDoug, just dont push him, let him want to do it. This is Alan Sr typing now. When my son started at 10 thats all he wanted to do. We would go to the flying fleld every weekend end and spend 12 hrs both days. After a couple of months I would see he would goof off while there and I started to say, come on lets practice. Then I realized hes only 12 and a just a kid and wanted to play whlie there also. One I accepted this I didnt push him, I would let him do his own thing. Im glad I did that cause I might of caused him to loos intrest. Now Im just as proud as you are, for in less then 4 years of flying he gets invited to participate in the 3D Extremes in Troy Ohio in June 21 thru 23. Keep smiling Doug, I know how you feel when some of them older pilots are watching.
