does anyone tried to run his YS 61 with Cool power 15% ?

I fly my YS ST2 on 15% Nitro fuel. I am currently using Wildcat but was using Cool Power with similar results. I have plenty of power and zero problems out of my YS on 15%. Flight times are longer than with 30% and the power is almost as good.

Hi BGRCR,

thanks, I'll try this combo on the model of the flight school I'm running. The YS are more long lasting than OS, and the fact that the consumption is lower on 15% will help the student to fly longer

You won't be sorry. Your students don't need that last 5% of possible power anyway. Actually an excess of power when learning can help to instill bad flying habits in MHO.
