Hey all, Now that I have some stick time on the Raptor 50 I would like to find a quieter, smoother muffler.

Right now I am running a Century CN3033A Speed Torpedo. And I have to laugh about this muffler. It is identical to the ACE upgrade muffler for the 30 size engines. Same length, width, exhaust opening and exit size.

I would like to stay away from the CY Muscle Pipe because I have read a lot here that you can not use a govenor with it. And I plan on getting a GV-1.

The KSJ Competition muffler are some of the quietest I've heard.

I agree with volkul on this one. The Hatori 50 size gets my vote. I've flown with one for about a year and am very happy with it. It is much quieter than the Century.

I don't mean to be a pest but would any of you happen to have sound files of what the muffler sounds like.

I really think that these manufacturers should have mini sound samples on there website.
