My R60 fan has a bad wobble to it, and I'm interested to get a metal fan. I noticed on one of the other posts that someone was having trouble getting the Quick fan to run true. Any experiences with TT's upgrade? Does it run true? Is it balanced out of the package, or require balancing? I've got to do something, I've only got about ten flights on the heli and I've already had a battery connection fail from the vibration. I'm afraid the servos are the next to go. Any experiences would be most appreciated. Thanks. Steve.

I have the TT fan. I put it on straight out of the package. Seemed to make my heli much smoother that the stock plastic one. The only reason I made the upgrade was due to separation of the stock fan.

I just put on TT metal fan. Checked the fan before I installed the GV-1 mags and it was out of balance. After the GV-1 magnet was installed I had to drill 5 holes total to get it to balance. It was not really bad but if you want it perfect then you may want to balance it.

My 2 cents....

Original Fan did wobble, but was in perfect balance... New tt metal fan installed with.0015 runout, also in balance. Most Raptor parts seem to need little or no balancing, but it is critical to balance the fan and clutch as a unit, rather than separate parts...

Thanks all. Looks like the TT fan may help me. The original hub runs pretty true with only about .002" runout, but the plastic fan is pretty crooked and was a fair bit out of balance as well. Truly the worst of all worlds. Thanks. Steve.
