antenna

Carbon will not act as an antenna but actually shields rf signals. I have always run mine down the carbon boom supports with no problems at all. As long as you don't run it straight up the support and actually kind of wind it around so no matter what attitude your at it can see you Tx. The boom supprts are so skinny anyway they shouldn't shield the signal at all but i wrap mine around anyway. Everyone at our field does it the same way as the picture with no problems the get much better range than base loaded ones and its super clean. I put small pieces of fuel line wear the tie staps go so they don't bite into the tube and cutting the wire.
