| I push the logo 10's as hard, or harder, than anyone and use 3102's. Speed isn't a big issue, you can't tell the difference in the normal .18~.22 servos in use with larger glow machines, and the .25 of the 3102's. I first tried HS85's, but they are so horrible with freeplay I changed to the 3102's and have never looked back. the 3102's stay "tight" with no freeplay or centering issues. Using the new small digitals (9650's) in the logo 14 and they are great , but of course more expensive.
As for another question in this thread, I've used 6V input with the GY401/9253 in several helis over the years. The gyro supplies power to the servo, and it is regulated, so there is not an issue with using 6V input. |
