Hi, I have an Airtronics RD8000 radio & reciever which comes with a battery pack for the reciever. I was under the impression that I do not need the reciever battery pack with the Hacker motor and ESC. So, do I just run a connector from the ESC straight to the channel that the Airtronics manual stated to hook up the reciever battery? This is channel number eight that is marked B/8, on the reciever. I'm guessing that the "B" represents the BEC connect, or the channel eight if I need the battery pack. Is this right? In turn, the main battery pack would be the power supply for the reciever, right? I did notice an extra connector came with the radio, porbably for this reason. I'd appreciate any input, thanks, Steve.

The "B" represents "battery".

Yes, with the BEC, the main pack will power the receiver and servos, etc.
