Engines Plugs Mufflers Fuel > JR 50IMZ instructions

Just received my JR50IMZ from CyberHeli (not available in England yet), and I have a little problem with the instructions and reading them

Anyone got any English ones ?
If so, any chance you could scan and e-mail them to me ?

If not, has anyone got any tips on using this engine, or is it pretty muchg the same deal as any engine ? Where should I set the needles to begin ? What plug ? What fuel (the instructions appear to have 10-30% printed on them, but I don't know what this is talking about. I'm guessing it is nitro content)

Any help would be very much appreciated

Many thanks

Andy

as for the manual. It says never run the main needle less than 1.5 turns out. and to start around 2.5 turns for the break in of (I think) 10 tanks? Not sure on break in duration I thought it was long. says if needed to adj the low end .25 turn at a time. the manual only states 30% nitro;I however ran it on 15% with no problem. I ran mine with the plug that came with the engine and then on an OS 8 and did not see any difference. If you need the low end needle setting I will have to find it.

Yes it is a very nice set of instructions. It is on 8x10 paper.

Do I sense sarcasm ?

Even so, I don't suppose there is any chance you could scan them and e-mail them to me, is there ? Or let me know your source and I'll see if I can get a set from them...

Cheers

My IMZ RV50 came with English instructions, anyone who gets the engine in the states should also have the instructions in both English and Japanese. It is about 16 pages long. It would not be the easiest to scan. What's the deal? What particular area do you need to know? I can copy it and type it out.

I got my engine from CyberHeli as they are not available here in the UK.
What do I need to know ? Not sure really.

Do I treat it like a normal engine ?
Are there any warnings or 'never do this' bits in the instructions ?
What plug ?
What fuel ?
Starting points for the needles ?

It would just be nice to know what all the squiggles are trying to tell me

Thanks in advance if you can answer any of these questions

Andy

PS: Why do JR not make these resources available on-line ?

I purchased the Voyager 50 IMZ with engine (as a kit) oversees and was told that the instructions were in Japanese only. Any help in getting the English version of the instructions for either the heli or engine would be great.

Thanks !!!

RickC - nice one.

I didn't get the mail so I downloaded it from the link you posted.
I was a little confused at first as it came across as a text file which was garbage, but on examining it a bit I realised it was actually a zip file so I renamed it as such, and hey presto - 16JPEGs.

Thanks very much. I have now have some reading for tonight
