Can the Lotterle carburettor be fitted in an os91 in any other type if helicopter?

Has anyone done this? If so what are your findings?

I am thinking that the saving in fuel costs would pay for itself in a few weekends.

Yes it will fit a 91SXH etc no problem

Hi

I know Jeremy Morcom from the 3D Masters Experts class, had one in a Robbe Milli with a OS 90SXH (i think). You could email him.

Researching on the internet I found a web site that was using the lotterle carb with an OS60wc. I believe they make the carb for loads of engine sizes and different amounts of nitro. Sorry forgot to bookmark the site and it was in German.

Also read some where that Rudiger Feil helped design the Lotterle carbs with Thomas Lotterle, and he used them on his engines a few years ago. Again sorry to book mark the site. (Actuall I think I read it on the same site)

hi

you can use the lotterle carb on any engine. (.50-.90)
the intake diameter will change. from 8 - 12mm.

using the lotterle with different fuel, you can
change the mixture-needle.
the angle of the needle changes from 1.50°, 2°, 2°10, 2°20...
it depends on content of nitro and oil.

Hi,

due to the huge range of produced Lötterle carbs, it will fit to most of the existing engines - except YS.
I have it in the following helis

Rappi 50 with OS 46FX - Lötterle 8/10 with "slot" intake
NT with 91FX - ok, Lötterle with 11mm intake
Nova with Webra P5 91 with 13mm intake
