this is good to know. Question what are fuel dots for? I have never heard of them.

I put one on my Airwolf.. it's for refueling the tank when the fuel line is hard to reach. It's a lot like the standard refueling valves that they sell for planes, but there are no parts to wear out or leak with a fuel dot. I use them all the time on my planes, and thought it'd be nice on a scale heli so I wouldn't have to take the top of the canopy off each time I want to refuel it

A fuel dot is more or less just an aluminum plug.. Your fuel line is split with a 'T' connector, and another fuel line is run from that T to the outside of your heli/plane. Cut it off about 3 or 4" past the body, and push this sealing aluminum dot into the fuel tubing. This is the plug you use to refuel with. When you're done, put the aluminum plug back in and push it into the bracket. It makes for a nice appearing fueling alternative to the regular valve that some put on the outside of the body. Maybe it's me, but I have not had a problem of the engine flooding from using one so far. I usually put the starter to the engine for 5-8 seconds without the glow igniter on it first, to clear out any fuel that may have been forced through the carb.

Clean looking installation, and if you paint it the same color as the body, it's almost not visible from a little distance since it's smooth on the outside.

Just my useless opinion anyway

excerpt from their website.. it sounds like it...

"Our Titanium shaft are Lighter, Stronger, and held to a higher tolerance than any other shafts on the market. Our shafts are all centerless ground and polished to within +or- .00025 of an inch. By using Titanium shafts you can shave off onces of weight. Lighter is Better. Titanium is also a much more efficient heat sink than steel or aluminum. So we don't have to compensate for thermal expansion."

Solid would still be lighter but hollow would be even lighter but not as easy to mfr. I used Ti shafts years ago (standard on Rev Helies) The spindle is a good idea depending on the heat treat Ti can be a very good spring

What's their Website URL.. since you mentioned on their web site...
I think Ti would be lot more expensive than the regular steel.

Recently I just bought 2 Ti link rods by Hangar 9 for my Aileron for $10 .. When my heli had a botch auto at a FF one of them broke :eek mmm.. i thought they are supposed to be unbreakable??

Titanium parts are not unbreakable.... We used to use Ti parts on R/C cars back when I used to race.. Suspension links and tie-rods.... They always seem to break at the thread. the weakest point of any link. I think that in a crash situation, a mainshaft will bend just about as easily as steel. Something to think about... don't you want the cheaper parts to absorb all that impact? Something has got to give, and it can cost more, it can cost less..
