| Works fine on a dellI have two dell laptops, one an older insperon 7100, the other a new insperon 8200. Realflight deluxe works fine on the older dell as long a you correctly configure the program and turn off the 3d background. G2 does not work very well on the older insperon, it will load just fine but the frame is so slow that the "stuttering" makes it impossible to fly helicopters on the program.
However, my new insperon 8200 with a nvidea 64 mg ultraG4 video card has no trouble running realflight G2 with all the bells and whistles turned on. I have run this program on several different computers, desktops and laptops, with processors ranging from older celerons to the newest 1.7 pentium IV chips and the single most important feature that determines how well the program runs is the video card. Anything under 64 mg will require you to turn off background features and "tweek" the program to get it to run smoothly. I have tried nvidea 8 mg, 32 mg and 64 mg cards------get the fastest video card you can afford. I have no experience with the new 128 mg cards but see no reason why they wouldn't work even better.
