I need help to my Voyager E

What is the best motor?
What is the best speed control?
How many battery, 7 or 8?
Where can iI find?

I have a Voyager E, and I can't fly it. The Heli has a original motor and speed control, but some people think are bad.

Generally speaking...

1) Best Motor - Hacker C40-8L
2) Best ESC - Several work well. The Hacker 40-3p and the CC45 are both considered good choices.
3) Battery Cell Count...no less than 8 (with any motor) Up to 10 cells with a brushless. Best power would be from Li-PO 3s pack with brushless.
4) Best place to buy Brushless Motor... Aircraft World

These are my opinion only...others may disagree !!

?

Can the 10s be put on 10 cells? Drop it down a couple teeth? Or is the 8L better??

The general concensus is the 8L is better. It works with 8 cells, is better with 10 and is awesome on Li-PO. Boatloads of torque and plenty of headspeed on a 3s pack and a 17t pinion.

Many people reccomend the 8L for 10 cells but I havn't heard of anyone using the 10s on 10 cells. I was going to go with the 8L with the intention of moving to LiPo eventually but decided to stay cheap and get the 10s. Now I'm not sure that was a wise move so I would suggest the 8L and live with poorer performance on 8 cells and maybe move up to LiPo for a real killer machine.

I have the 8L on 3S li-po. It draws 17A avg (no 3D flying) and I had to reduce to 15T pinion and governor mode to 75% only in order not to be above 1600 rpm (i have woodies).

I have a 9L on mine. I think it gives you a little more duration than the 8 but can't compare it to anything. This is just what I have been told. I am running 10 cells
