I'm just curious how do i change crystals on my transmitter? The whole module is a crystal? How much do they cost? My remote would be converted to pcm if i buy a pcm reciever, correct? I figure that the fm is good enough for now and maybe get a pcm reciever from heli hut or something so i can use the same remote for my 4 channel airplane?

I've realize that the transmitter comes with ni-cd batteries. I would really like to use NIMH and keep them half charged and recharged it before my flights. It's easier with NIMH because ni-cd requires cycleing for max performance. So, what kind of batteries are most people using with their 9c's? Know any places where they sell them for the best prices.

thanks,

a new tx module will cost around us$45. I am now using the stock battery in the 9c, find that I have to cycle it very often(around once every 2 month), but then it does provide me with enough power for a weekend.

#61 on the 700N list and Proud of it.
