My pack goes about half way in the frames upto the tail servo.

I also thought the suplied nicad straps were too tight,
I put a velcro wrap all the way around at the back under the main mast and at the front just a piece of self adhevive velcro under to pack to the frame.
This seems to work fine but a 3d pilot throwing it around would probably need it more secure.

In the event of a nose in crash the pack is going to take the impact so thought maybe not being strapped at the front will allow it to be pushed upwards, it MIGHT just save it....

Simon let us know how you get on.

Regards David

Hi,

Have put a spacer in between the front frames and also put some large washer's between the rears, it's alot easier to move the pack in and out now. Just put a longer bolt in the front and needed a slightly longer one, one side of the rear.

Now just got to wait for rain to stop
