Anyone seen the Protech Zoom 400 for sale at any shops in UK yet?

Kondor Models in the US said that their first shipment of the Protech Zoom 400 will be in 4 weeks. I bet the UK importer will get them in the same amount of time. You should go ton the Protech website to see who the UK Protech dealer is.

Genty, I was in Avicraft (Bromley, Kent) this afternoon. They had one left which was promptly bought by somebody in France! They will be getting them in again as soon as possible.

i just got a zoom 400 from don hall's model shop in hucknall nottingham, allthough it was the only one he had gotten in stock, he's expecting a second shipment soon.

Can you suggest a flight pack i.e. everything else required to get the zoom up and running.
I have a triton charger so Lipos are an option (I think)

So what servos, Reciever Gyro and Batterys do I need to order with my kit.

Pack

Batteries- Lipos or the new Lithiom safe batteries.
we received them and very pleased. 10% more weight, but safe to weld, discharge up to 12-20c

and Not expensive .
servos- Micro /pico size, Futaba, Robbe , Hitec, as you prefer.
ESC of 20amps, or brushless setup 400 size..
gyro CSM 200 light version.

The zoom is awesome, not a surprise it is going out of current stock very fast...

My zoom 400 is on order. I already have a CSM ICG180 Piezo Gyro. Would this be suitable for my machine?

I think the CSM ICG180 would be to large but you could always try to take it out the case. Dont know if its possible with that gyro, i have a CSM 560sl without case in my Zoom.

Sussex Model Centre are now doing them with the option of the flight accessories - servos/gyro/batteries etc. Think this is going to be a big seller but would like to see some parts support being more obvious. It's nice to have the heli but no good if you cant get parts.
