I'm dying to get out and do more flying, um.. hovering I mean!! I'm ready to start burning my second gallon of fuel, but it's been too windy here since my last flight.

oh well, I'm sure it'll calm down soon... I hope!

I've got the same problem. Steady winds with gusts from 20 - 40 mph. IT's making me nuts. I want toget out there and burn some fuel.

I figured out the trick with the winds...

Go purchase a $200 stunt kite. The wind will then decide that it won't blow so you can't use the nice new kite and you'll be able to fly the heli. If it changes it mind then spend some time with the kite.

Todd G., are those stunt kites the big ones that can lift you into the air? Sounds like fun... how much $$

Yeah!! The wind died down enough to fly. Gusting only to 10 - 15 mph, I can handle that. Burned 4 tanks and the battery started getting low. So it's on the charger and I'm going out again later. Yeah!!!

Sorry RH.

The wind here has been very gusty for the past 5 days. The thing that really annoys me. Every evening at about 8:30 pm when it's getting dark outside, the wind drops and the next morning the wind build up again. It makes me mad !
