I'm still trying to find the best canopy colors for our coastal cloudy days here in San Diego.

I used monokote trim to test this orange color, it shows up well but doesn't give good orientation.

What are your recommendations?

That looks good. Why are you having problems with orientation? The canopy is very bright and looks very visible. But then again i don't live in San Diego

Visibility

This was my attempt to increase
visibility, I was hoping to get others
to contribute their color choices
and schemes.

Seneca's Scuttles

Damn, you like posting pictures of yourself and your helis. You're proud of those Scuttles, huh?

Of course a green canopy doesn't fade into gray concrete. That would be like dropping a dollar on the sidewalk and not being able to see it.

By the way, your Shuttles look nice. I see you've upgraded all the problems out of them. Have you heard about the newest upgrade? They have a 10mm shaft conversion. It only cost $185.

Scuttles, I mean Shuttles.

I was only kidding about the main shaft conversion. However, if Hirobo did offer a conversion, it would cost $185. I saw a Hirobo 20 ball bearing upgrade for a Shuttle, and it cost $150. I'm not kidding about that. Seneca, I'm just messing with you about your Shuttles.

I just bought a Fury and will fly it this weekend. The kit looks good.

Inverted Helis

Every picture of Senecas helis are inverted except for the ones not flying. If you gonna go inverted why are you so high? I see you at least 5 feet off the ground, wheres the blade taps? If you gonna do it, do it right.

Visibility

I stripped the orange day glow off the canopy a few days before going to the L.A. Fun Fly, what a mistake that was. I found the morning haze, looking into the sun was making it tough to see what was up when I was way out. The Hirobo Eagle WC decal kit on the other Freya is nice and clear, not sure if it's just the layers of colors, chosen for a purpose or what... I will put the WC decal on Freya one tomorrow night, see if I can get the decals on straight and actually stuck to the bleach bottle plastic. I'll probably seal the edges with some thin Zap, unless someone knows of another product that sticks to this type of plastic.
