Looks like a rifle
I have seen these videos in separate segments
The editor I believe put shotgun in the title
For a shotgun to kick like that, would have to be # 8 bore or larger
This weapons barrel does not look that large
It had iron sites like a rifle, yes slug shotguns have sites also
Just my option

That's a rifle chambered for the .577 "Tyrannosaurus Rex" cartridge. That 13.6 pound rifle fires a 750 grain bullet at a velocity approaching 2600 fps for a muzzle energy of over 11000 ft/lbs. It's comparable to the US military's .50 BMG heavy machinegun and anti-material rifle cartridge.
