Robbe balllinks are ok. Use them until you wear them out then buy Rocket City #77E's (if you can find them).

Robbe pushrods are pricey but very tough. I like'em.

The Vario ball-links in 2.5mm size are great, and so are their 2.5mm make-em-yerself rods. Buy the Vario 2.5mm hand-die for making your own, you won`t regret it.

There's no reason to upgrade the rod links. They are the same as Minature Aircraft.

Part number for ball-links is 107/17 for black or /18 for natural (white). These are packs of 25. The rod is 88/10 for 3 lengths of 2.5mm x 400mm long. The number for the hand-threading die is 70/20 (2.5mm green holder). If you need to make links up in different lengths then this is the way to go, quick and easy and usual Vario quality.

Rocket City

Hey guys,

Sorry for the late reply. Just my $0.02 here. My buddy that is the purchaser for one of the large mail order stores in all the mags told me that Rocket City is no longer in business. That may be why their ball links are getting hard to find. Too bad to hear that another good company falls by the wayside.

Rocket City Links

Ron Lund of Rick's Heli bought the last of the Rocket City Links, 10,000 of them. 35 cents each. I heard a rumor that someone has bought the molds. I hope it was true.

Rocket City is out of biz but Ricks did not buy
the mold(s). I believe someone else did
though.

The RC 77E links are a tight fit on the Robbe
balls and must be resized/fitted.
