My hub is on it's last leg, tried oversize bolt. Have new hub but can't see how to install. And is all that slipage normall? My first shot.
Thanks

The main rotor hub is held on the shaft by a single 4-40 screw and bolt. It doesn't need to be excessively tightened and a few degrees of rotational "play" is normal. In fact, if you overtighten this screw you could deform the hub.

To install, just drop the hub onto the shaft and eyeball the slot in the rotor shaft through the mounting hole in the hub. You can insert a smaller screw (or something that fits in the hole) into the mounting hole on the side where the nut is captured and engage the slot before you thread the 4-40 screw in. When you thread the 4-40 screw in, the smaller screw will be pushed out the other side.

Hope this helps...
