Well, the deal is I really want to get into electric helis. I have been on the sim almost everyday for at least 5 months and have trianed my eyes and fingers for helis. My question is how you guys think the corona performs as a electric heli. I am also thinking of going the micro route but sorta would like to be able to fly at my park. Any information would help and if any of you have aim or yahoo instant messenger I would like to talk to you.

Thanks in advance

Guess I've flown enough now to try and answer this one, been burning 2 packs at least every other day for a couple weeks...

I love the corona. Of course, I have nothing else to compare it to except a teathered Vectron, but I'm having a blast learning on this bird. The indoor thing is tough because it isn't a micro and can cause some damage, but it gets old fast anyway once you have some room to spread out. The garage works fine for hover practice. Outside it handles wind amazingly well for it's small size, I've had it out in 10-15 without too much worry. It's also stood up well to several ground contacts.

A few people cautioned about wasting $ on a FP electric, but I have absolutely NO regrets. Though there are drawbacks, like loosing stability if you decend too fast, it will be a while before I outgrow this thing. The repair $$ I've saved will soften the cost of the next heli, and being able to fly almost anytime in a small park or your yard without people noticing is priceless.
