Looks greatDave, that heli looks absolutely brilliant!
Do you know where the full size machine is based out of?
I see" Reef Helicopters" all the time but haven't come across this one.
I wonder if it's around Port Douglas. I don't get up there much.
Once again great job.

Vario Jet RangerLooks Great Hope the first flight goes ok Watch out for viberation as the rotor rpm increases will go through it . I found adding a little pitch helped Good Luck
Chris: I know the rotor head spool up/down can be a pig, I think I should be OK. Have you got the rotor brake fitted? I have, might help on slow down

Now I know why I haven't seen it. It is based out of Horn Is, which is a long way from home.
One of the guys that flys with us does coastwatch in the 412 which I assume is the one in the group photo on their web site. We don't see him very often because he works 3 on and 1 off.
Hope it all goes well for you Dave.
Colin.
What radio are you using that has 11 Channels? Just curious.

That's very beautiful. I'd love to build a scale helicopter someday, but I think, at this point, I'd be a bit too scared to ever fly it hehe. Love to see a video of that ship in the air.
