Hello,

I'm so confused and afraid to take the wrong decision.

If you had to choose between the OS91FX-HGL and the OS91SX-HGL, which one would you pick up and why? What's the difference?
I would like to use this engine without nitro thanks to the Lötterle carb.

I hope to get a pricise idea of all the part to order soon, because at this price, I don't want to regret my choice.

FX HGL with reverse crank is the 3dnt specific motor...

Very smooth but not quite as powerful as the SX... The SX has normal rotation and a crank with webbing... like most of the webbed OS cranks its a bit harsh on bearings...

I would get the FX and then if you want slightly more power port the liner to the same as the SX or use an SX liner...

For zero nitro and tuned pipe the FX should be fine for a while

the FX HGL, Graupner order number 1922 is the one for the NT with the gear ratio 7,7:1. It's designed for lower upm's (engine up to 14.000, head between 1300 and 1800). There is a reverse crank available for the fans of a right hand rotation version, but the standard NT (out of the box) with the standard FX will run left hand wise.
The SX (if available) and the SX "C" Spec are the ones for more "speed" on the head. You should have here a gear ratio of 8.3 : 1. If you ordered a standard NT, you will get the pinion for the 7,7 gear ratio.
The engine with more torque for the lower gear ratio is the FX. If you prefer more "rotations" you should order the SX/SX "C" Spec. with another gear ratio

8.34 with the cspec, its a rocket man i know, but the cspec with heim crank is a little expensive, but well worth the money

8.3 ratio with the webra 91AAR is a rocket

just not as smooth as the FX (still as good as a c-spec tho)
