What rate do you discharge the 1500mh 3cell battery it is rated at 11.1 v Or do you not cycle it? what is the best thing to do?

You do not cycle your LiPo's. Letting them get too low will kill them. Just fly them until they start to get low then charge them up.

If you store the LiPo batteries unused for several months, the life span will, according to some manufacturers, suffer if the batteries are fully charged. They recommend that you store them in a half-charged state.

Since the LiPo cells have no "memory", you don't cycle them: it will only shorten their life span.
