I am looking into getting a Zagi to fly around and have some fun at the field and was wondering where most people get them. I have noticed a lot of people mention that they have them, but I didn't see that many people say where they got them. I am looking at this one from Tower hobbies http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bi...?&I=LXDRG7&P=7. Is this one any good? With this I should need to get 2 micro servos and an rx. Does anyone have one like this or recommend a different one. I don't care to drop a fortune on it, but want one that people like.

This is where I have bought all of my stuff lately. If you dont see it he probably has it as he is slow on updaying his web page. Very fast service and friendly peple. dont get the Fixx, I have not heard that many good things about it. Get the XS or XT.

the zagi is good, lots of fun. i have seen another called the Wedgi (?), haven't flown it, but from what i saw it was faster the owner liked it better than the zagi.

I have a Zagi... To be honest, the Zagi compared to the Combat Wing vs. the Wedggie are pretty much the same thing. There is no real standout.

As for buyng a Zagi, i suggest you get the 400X. It is specifically made for "combat" and is built very strong and light. It has a carbon fiber spar that makes it very rigid. The most important thing however is the 400X has the 1400ma 8 cl battery. This allows you to get 15-20 minute flights if you fly normal. If you fly at full throttle the whole time, you can expect about 8-9 minutes. With a 400X, all you need to add is a receiver and two servos. I suggest the Hitec HS-81. Great servo at a great price (about $13 each).

DO NOT get a Zagi Fixx. It is a molded foam sing and had a geared motor. It is not made for combat and will break if you land wrong, crash or get hit by a "real combat wing.

Please be aware that the 400X is no longer being made - the new one is the 400ST (or 400XT for dual motors). The new wings are all EPP, instead of the EPP/Stryofoam mix on the 400X, so should hold up better. The 400X is still a good flyer, but unless I got a really good deal on one, I would probably go with the ST.

I have been flying the single engine mini combat wing.... awesome little plane with roll rates approaching 3 per second... makes for a wild ride... and at only 40 bucks for the thing.. I couldnt be happier... the battery cost me more

So this one would be a good one here http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bi...?&I=LXALN3&P=7. I see they have the XT also with the dual motors. Any benifits of a dual motor. I just want something to fly around and do aerobatics, I probably won't do combat unless I convince someone else to buy it at the field. Thanks for all your help.

Tell that to all the guys who have had their zagis torn apart by a Combat Wing...

I am thinking my Himaxx 2015-4100 and 1500 mah lipolys would be fun in the mini xe on combatwings.com. I might just have to order one of those to play with...Ya think direct drive would be ok
