| Well BAD news. Right after school I decided to make use of this nice weather. I brought out the SPAD, rappy is still in hibernation, and went flying. We just hand launched topday because I don't have good luck taxing a plane in 2 feet of snow. First tank...we wasted half of it trying to start the dam thing and found a hole in a fuel tube. Second tank...flew good very rich but still pretty nice, did a few flat spis and got a hang for my relatively new plane. Third tank...starts good, leaned her out and prepared to launch. As buddy tosses it he says "crap what was that?" and the plane made a nice recovery form his rather crappy throw and smoothly transitioned upwards. Then I noticed that hey I DON'T HAVE CONTROL OF IT. It just nicely, beter than I fly it, did large circles and gained altitude. The wind was to my back and it just helped it drift away, after a minute we could barely see it as we tried to chase it across the lake. But in the end it was gone. It had a full tnak of gas running pretty lean so I figure it flew for a good half hour or more and then slowly drifted down. So I plan on filing a police report and telling all of te local LHS's to be on the lookout for my ugly plane (they know it well). Anything else I should do? Thanks
