How do yo test a lipo to see if it's dead?
I'm using 2cell kokam 1500mahs, and I think I might have killed it.

If your battery won't charge it's dead. If you ran it all the way down it's dead. I killed my Kokam 1500 mAh LiPo battery. I forgot to unplug it from my helicopter over night and when I woke up it was dead and wouldn't charge again. I kept trying to charge it but it would stop charging after 2 minutes and only 2 mAh's went in. Then I would charge it again and after 2 minutes, the charger would stop again. I did this over and over for about 60 times over two days. After charging again and again for two days it finally started to hold a charge and topped off at over 1500 mAh. I use it now and it's just like new again.

Hmmm, a minute of flight time huh? Did you do something to them that would have caused this? How much does it charge to after your done flying? Mine usually charges up about 900-1100 mAh after I'm done flying. As soon as I knotice my helicopter taking more then 3/4 stick to hover I stop and recharge.

I don't know what happened. I never had problems before. It's really weird. First I thought it was my motor but I changed like 5. (I thought it would be weird that both of my packs dumped at the same time) I have the hobbico mk2 charger maybe charging them simultaneously dropped the voltage and ruined both? I'm pretty sure my 1500's are trashed, but they seem to be getting fully charged (around 8.24v)

Today I bought the new HB Bk 117 and my battery couldn't even lift it more than a foot or so off the ground. I put my 3c 700mah and that flew it with plenty of power.

Does your charger have a discharge or cycle function? If so it can be used to check the health of your pack.
