I do. The Stylus doesn't enjoy the popularity of the more affordable RD6/8000 not to mention Futaba and JR radios but it is a very capable radio.

I think alot of people stood up and took a closer look when Hashimoto used one to win the world championships. Its not a cheap radio especially since you will need the upgrade card to fly a CCPM heli. When you do though, you'll have a radio that is very close to a 10X, 9ZHP yet still not cost what they do. The new receivers and digital servos are second to none.

Are a few that I know of that sell, or will order you, the Stylus but HeliProz will probably get you the best price.

Airtronics have a great selection of robust, durable servos. I'm using the 94358Z which is a high performance non-digital servo. I've had two seasons of regular flying without any problems at all. Plus, it is perfectly OK to run them at 6V.

I flew JR exclusively for 20 years before switching to Airtronics. I've found the Stylus to be comparable to the Futaba 9ZHP in capability with the ease of the JR 10X to program; all at roughly half the cost!

It is definitely a radio worth a second look. One other thing. It is fully compatible with all makes of servo, gyro, and receiver (non-PCM mode).

Chris.

Stylus

I've got one with the heli card and have had no problems. I really miss having digital trims, but otherwise, it's a very capable radio. I've also got an RD8000 from Airtronics and like it a lot. It does have the digital trims and every other feature that I actually need or use. It's smaller, lighter, cheaper, the batteries last longer, and the sticks aren't quite as nice. Airtronics service is the best there is. Steve.

You won't be sorry with the Stylus. It is a fabulous radio and will do anything that you will ever need.

Very easy to program and has a very solid feel to it.

Airtronics make fabulous equipment but just don't market there products very well.

Don't be afraid to go with Airtronics, I've never been sorry I did.

I have been using a Airtronics Stylus for 3 years and love it. I have not had any problems with the radio equipment as of yet. I us the Stylus for all my R/C stuff. You know like planes, Parachute guy, and all my helicopters.

You can not beat the radio.

Here is a place to buy all the Airtronics systems at pretty good prices.

http://www.rcshobbieslaportein.com/

Those RD 8000's with four 322 ball bearing servos for 269. bucks are impossible to beat. From a practical and prudent point of view, it is the best helicopter system today.

And they are half or less then the price of everything else. Use to be you would get what you paid for. Now we are all just paying to much for the other systems.

You get an RD 8000 and it will do just about what the other high end systems will do, for 1/4th the cost. And, it will also let you do something none of the other systems will. It has pluse shift built right into the transmitter. Simply put, pluse shift means you can run Futaba, JR, and Hitec PPM receivers with the RD transmitters. It has 10 model memory and you can assign a shift to each memory if you like.

The RD series transmitters are by far the easiest transmitters to program as well. You go right across the top, and down the channel to the function you want to program in theatchannel. It is just that simple.
