Hi guys,sorry if im repeating an ongoing question but im here in the UK and as we pay thru the nose for every thing i need some advise before i spend around 500 pounds on lithium batteries and a charger!!!

So,my question is,what configuration is best for my Logo 10,i have Kontronic 600-18 motor Scultz 18/46k controller.

I am only doing basic curcuits no where near 3d!!!

Should i buy something thats on the market now or wait a while,you guys in the states seem to be a little ahead of us hear!!

Hope you can help!!!!!!

Hello

For your motor, use a 4s4p LiPoly and you should be set. Just make sure that you use a heat sink on your motor because you will be flying for a lot longer than with your Nicads. Oh and for a charger, I highly recommend the Schulze Brand. The 330D(5.5 amps max charge) is awsome and probably all you need, but the 636 can charge at an 8 amp rate so charging time will be faster.

Have fun with your new LiPolys. After you try them out once youll never think about your nicads again.

Hmmm... I thought I remember reading somewhere that the 4S4P is too much voltage for the Fun 600-18? Do a search here as well as over at Logomaniac Forum.

OK for the 600-18 go with 4S4P but monitor your motor temps .. I used a couple of RC car heatsinks (use computer cpu heat paste) and a CPU fan, consider splitting your flights into 3x5 mins rather than one long 15 min session.
Run a 13T pinion
Schulze charger is the biz (I have the 330)

Forget all this I'm a beginner stuff, it's a red herring
