I feel it necessary to make this post on various boards so that other people don`t make the same mistake that I did. If I manage to stop just one person making a purchase from Helihobby then I will feel like the time that I wasted writing this post was worth it.
I bought a helicopter from them with various upgrades and accessories totaling in excess of $1600. It did`nt show up until 2 weeks later than they said it would. I sent an email (which they never return) saying I wanted to cancel it but they sent it anyway. It was not complete, so I was unable to fly. A couple more weeks later I got the crystal and some other parts that they omitted from the order. Once I was ready to fly I came to realize that the receiver that I bought did not work. They assured me after numerous emails and threats that I would make a negative post about them that the receiver was sent off. 3 weeks later it had still not arrived. I emailed them again. This time someone else responded saying that they would fix it asap. I emailed them back (giving them my info)and never got a response.
I emailed one last time telling them that they suck, but I will give them one last chance to make it right. I have been building helicopters for 15 years and to be treated this way is unbelievable. They never responded again so $#%@ them.
Anyone considering buying from Helihobby should not and buy fom DEETEE instead. Dennis is great and has been a pleasure to deal with. His # is 503 692 6953
