I have just purchased a new Eolo helicopter with Twist brushless moter. Everything was going fine for my first flight (after a couple of mishaps with bad soldering) .
I place the helicopter on my garden and started her up. I started to put the power on slowly.... and a bit more..... and then full power. Only at full power did the helicopter start to rise. It never made it off the ground and after a few tweaks i still could not get it off the ground

My conclusion with my very limited knowledge is that the batterys where just not powerfull enough.
I am using some second hand Sanyo 1700 12v batterys (10 cell) and it charged up fine.
Anyone know if my batterys are to underpowered for this motor or could it be a bad setup?

thanks

thanks for the help. I had to check all my pushrod lengths and now it flys but i still don't get a massive amount of power so i will try your pitch settings to see if they help

thanks
