Well I have my parts list coming together and I have found everything I need for my Foamy Factory Ultimate Biplane. But now that all the stuff is instock the HiMaxx 2015-4100's are out of stock I would really like to order everything soon so I don't miss more things next week when all the places say they will have them in stock. Any ideas? Thanks

Are you building the 40" or the 30"? I cut out enough parts to build 3 of the 30 inch ultimates the other night and have servos and carbon in the mail, but I haven't even decided on power systems yet. (next paycheck hehe)

I am building the 30" version first. I have the depron and the carbon spars on the way. I just deposited my latest paycheck (3 of em actually) so I would like to order all of my stuff today. Heres my list.

Berg 5 Mini RX
BlueBird 371 Micro Servo (4 so I can have flaperons and spoilerons)
E-Tec 3-Cell 1200 mAh Pack
Hobbico Quick Field Charger MkII-or astroflight 090 lipoly charger
Pheonix 25 Brushless ESC
HiMaxx 2015-4100 Brushless Motor-I CAN"T FIND ANY

Sounds like a nice combo, I'm using the DOW bluecore to start with, some of those yellow 9 gram draganfly servos and a single conversion 6 channel receiver. I'm trying to figure out how to build an auto-gyro out of this stuff

Where did you find the gearbox and other parts? I guess I'm spoiled with nitro helicopters and buying 'combo kits', etc. In looking into the motor/speed controller/gearbox/battery it looks like you have to buy the motor one place, gearbox somewhere else, then choose which gears for the gearbox from a big selection and... etc. there an easier way/source to do this?

Most of the stuff is coming from aeromicro.com or parkflyermotors.com then the gearbox is from LHS. To my amazement he had it in stock I gave him a list of stuff to try to find for me last week but he hasn't got back yet so I am ordering via internet. Good luck on your Ultimate, I am going to try to post a day by day guide'ish type thing. I would think you have seen this thread...http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...15&pagenumber=1
It is the 9th version of a thread all about these awsome planes and its still going strong. It should be in version 10 pretty soon
