| Sounds like a nice combo, I'm using the DOW bluecore to start with, some of those yellow 9 gram draganfly servos and a single conversion 6 channel receiver. I'm trying to figure out how to build an auto-gyro out of this stuff 
Where did you find the gearbox and other parts? I guess I'm spoiled with nitro helicopters and buying 'combo kits', etc. In looking into the motor/speed controller/gearbox/battery it looks like you have to buy the motor one place, gearbox somewhere else, then choose which gears for the gearbox from a big selection and... etc. there an easier way/source to do this?
