Well it works and it's free, so that's a good start. You can't beat a hardware firewall but you have to pay for those so it's the next best thing

What would be a good hardware firewall to get?? I use the XP home firewall and it's not bad..from what I can tell......Could use a more informed opinion on the subject......more than mine that is......

Thanks for the reply, I saw a show recently that was showing how easy it is to monitor a wireless system from outside of a building and capture info......is this a possibility with all wireless routers??? And what is the range on this type of system?...

If you wanted hardware firewall vs. a software firewall, and have
security issues with a wireless, go with a hardwire router

Thanks Ted, I'm on dail -up...... VERY painful as far as speed goes, (high speed not available here). I live in a tree in the local park...... So, I'm not sure if any router would be an advantage for me.......

I tried that link to sygate that 440GTX posted...(thanks 440) and it says that all it could get from my PC was a public IP address, it couldn't get my PC's name, or anything else......guess my firewall is working as well.....unless that link put some nefarious program on my hard drive.... ........I think NOT!!......
