Came accross this old photo. This is where V8Buggy came from. I built and drove this buggy about 6 years ago. Powered by 383 S.B. Chevy @ over 500 H.P., buggy was under 1100 pounds. What a hoot.

Yes, but we only used Pismo for winter tune ups, way to small for real buggy fun. For long travel / family buggies Glamis is the place to go. Big HP , "the big dogs", go to Dumont.

Hopefully your kidding, I won't say nobody wears a helmet in a buggy, but way less than 1%. If the buggy is constructed properly, and you have good harnesses, there is no way for your head to touch anything.

We have been building and playing on buggies for over 20 years, but the ultra left environmental whackos, have just about killed it. I'm sure when they get to it, our helis exhaust too will be a major impact to the environment, and need to be ended.

He's an adult, let him make the decision for himself. I can't stand helmet laws, and seat belt laws. Victimless crimes....

Yeah then when an individual cracks his skull and is a veggie the rest of his life, we will all end up paying his bills. I'm sorry but some people are not intelligent enough to make those decisions for themselves( not the individual shown above) and the gov't has to make them for them.
Just my opinion

Think about what you just said. The government knows what is best for everybody and thus can impose it's will upon the people.

We shouldn't have to pay his bills, he should, or his family should. Socialized health care is aweful.
