I ordered a GV-1 on Sunday night and got it today Wednesday, It was $130 plus shipping. You can't beat that price or service.

Hey,

The shipping was about $16 for 3 day delivery.
As far as **** out of luck if something goes wrong, a friend bought a gyro that had a problem and they gave him a new one no ? asked.

I guess the shipping is the same, because I paid $17 shipping awhile back on the GV1, but I think it was 2day delivery.

hmm helihut ...

I placed an order with them ONCE.....

And granted they took my order and removed funds from my account for the goods within an hour of placing the order...

THEN NOTHING . yes after emails, even telephone calls nothing. It took me 90 days to get my money back via my credit card protection scheme.

So please beware, and liker others have said what if the thing dies ???

My best service was from cyberheli in hong kong , sent me a large order to the UK well within 24hrs from order to the parcel sittng on my doorstep. I use then regularly now as I can get the part faster than buying within the UK.

I ordered a part that was in stock from a local model shop , and guess whaty even though I paid for 24hr service, three days later still no parcel, and many differing excuses.

So buyer beware one good experience dont ALWAYS mean a good service

If Sealerman had done a search on HeliHut prior to placing his order he might have had a different outlook.....

The current problem with HeliHut is their lack of response to customer service needs........

Numerous complaints have been documented, including my own.....My case was "minor" compared to others...... An order I placed last August was short a couple of packages of push rods......I attempted to resolve the problem by speaking with Charles (on my dime) after he ignored several emails. To date, I neither have the missing parts or credit.......

He's lost a customer over approximately $6 dollars......

The complaints continue to come in. He never returns any calls and his mailbox is "full" so if you try to email him your messages will bounce. Even if they don't , he just ignores them. Unless there's a sale involved......

You can reach your own conclusion but to me, there's too many other places to buy your stuff......

Including your LOCAL HOBBY SHOP...... There, make you feel better ??? (You know who you are !!!!)

I gave up on my local hobby shop, I tried to do business with him but every time he had to order stuff. So why bother when I can have it delivered to my door. As far as Helihut I was just happy it came so quick, the only reason it did come quick is I was not in a rush for it. If I was in a rush I'm sure I would have had a problem to.

My wisecrack about the local hobby shops was meant for a good buddy of mine locally..... He knows who he is !!!!

Seriously, I was one of HeliHut's proponents when they first came on the mail order scene.... I've ordered probably three times from Charles and never an issue. Items came quickly and orders were complete.

I can't for the life of me figure out why Charles has chosen to take on his current path of ignoring the customer service side of the business....... I would only think that eventually, he'll go down the tubes........

Good luck with your governor. I'm sure it will be fine.....

I dont recommend heli hut and they was a local heli store, Guess somethings wrong huh
