| The stock controller is only supposed to handle 8.4v, (7 cells). Most people will use 9.6v (8 cells) for that little extra power and flight time (like I did for a while.) But you can blow the stock esc with that. So I'm pretty sure that 11.1v lithium would just blow up. Not to mention, that I think the BEC in the controller might fry your receiver and servos, cause it's not supposed to handle that much more power. I wouldn't advise getting a lithium until you upgrade to brushless first. I've got the Astroflight brushless, and I'm saving for a lithium.
