| While I'm not usually charging lead acid batteries, it sounds to me like your sensitivity on your charger (if it has an adjustable one) is set too low. It's slightly overcharging the battery each time. Just from experience with other types of batteries, it checks the voltage on the battery every so often, and once the battery voltage gets to a certain peak, and then drops a little, the battery is deamed fully charge. If your charger is set to say a .4 v drop, it could be a little overcharged before it drops .4 below it's peak rather than a .1v drop where the moment it see's that drop it stops... |
