Can anyone tell me the difference between the Beat ESC and the JAZZ?

I have the BEAT 40-6-12 and I'm going to use a TANIC Lipo on it 3s2p 4400mAh. The voltage seems to fall within the ESC limits, is there any reason why people are using the JAZZ instead?

The Jazz is the successor of the BEAT with Lipo-Mode and other improvements.

IMHO the BEAT will work for you, you should just acquire a feeling for when to quit flying to keep the Lipos above 2.5 V per cell under load.

But in my experience with 3s1p on the Hornet rpm drop significantly before this occurs.

Born to fly. Forced to work.

Thanks Eddi,

I would have the cut off disabled anyway if I had the JAZZ. Thanks for letting me know.

Exploding Lipols

Hi guys
You should really keep the voltage above 3v per cell to prevent the cell gassing upon recharge.

Trust me, They explode

Cheers
