marsBme,

I think it depends on your budget and how long and far you want to pursue this hobby for.

The corona is my first heli, and I started with the futaba gy240 and am very happy with it. It has heading hold (HH) which makes hovering a little simpler that you don't have to use the tail control (however it's a little harder during forward flight for me but I'll learn).

I've never used another gyro but I think quality wise it's worth it.

I use the cheap GWS (non HH) PG-03 which is fine

I learnt to fly with these in my Piccolo. Some say learning with a HH is easier.

Many turn HH off for FF circuits etc.

Regards

Jerry
